Can I candle on day 13

I saw an article on hatching eggs and it says don't candle after day 14 but I can candle at day 13 right I think I can but wanted to double check and make sure because I don't want to mess up the membrane or anything so thanks everyone!

Yes.

The day 14 (to some date I now forget) thing you are referring to is more of a caution based off prior studies than a thou shalt not. I've candled on every day you can think of and the eggs were fine.

Oh ok thanks I just read that on the hatching 101 article that those days are when the membrane is developing so I just wanted to be safe

It's good to be safe, but I don't think you have to worry. Just don't play soccer with it.
