Discovered a broody on a nest and I know for sure she's only been on it for 2 days. Does anyone know if that will be harmful to eat those eggs? I could also hardboil them and feed them back to the birds, which I do sometimes if I have too many eggs.

They probably wouldn't hurt you but I wouldn't want to eat eggs with an embryo started. My husband went to the Phillipines many years ago and said they serve duck eggs with the embryo at day 18.

Supposedly, it's a normal dish there. I guess it's all what you're used to!!
