I treated my flock w/sulmet back in January. The hens hadn't laid an egg since last summer. I've finally started getting some eggs again this past weekend!!! My husband wanted me to make sure the eggs are safe though. We'd done a necropsy on a pair of birds. The state vet told us to do a 30 day egg withdraw. My hubby thinks it was suppose to be once they started laying, but I understood it to be during the 30 days post treatment, that IF they started laying NOT to eat the eggs. Before we consume them he wanted me to make sure. Thanks!
