Can I eat the eggs

My Black Giant went broody a few days ago and I did'nt know what I should do so I left her there. Today I got her out and collected the eight eggs that were under her. She had been laying on them three of four days. Are they still okay to eat? I also don't have a rooster so she could have laid there forever and nothing would have happened. Please advise. Thank you. Oh and BTW she was not happy with me. LOL
