I have been told by some people that it is not good to feed chickens citrus and some people have said that it is okay to feed them citrus. I am most interested in feeding my chickens grapefruit. Help me out here folks.

I do not give mine a lot of citrus but once in a while I will toss a orange or grapefruit in with them. Hasn't killed any of them. I wouldn't put a dozen or so in with them tho.

I give my girls left over oranges and other citrus and have never had a problem... Now I wouldnt give them a whole bag of oranges...

I would think some citrus would be good for them. Apple-Cider Vinegar is an organic worm-preventer because it is so acidic, so wouldn't oranges and grapefruits be that way too?
