Can I feed pheasant starter to baby chickens?

I have some pheasant starter left over. I was wondering if i can feed it to my oegb chicks? Or would it be bad for them?

You would probably get a better answer if posted in the Feeding & Watering Your Flock section.

I did that by accident for the first 2-3 weeks of my chicks life and it didnt hurt them any that I can see!
The were always playing and happy and all the rest we have hatched out here on our farm.
