can i get rid of that smell?

ok, i have 7 chicks and 2 ducks in a 110 gallon water trough with 2 heat lamps and 2 waterers

they are all about a week old, and because of the smell i have moved them from my bedroom to my laundry room and finally yesterday i moved them to the garage.

is there anything that can be done about the smell, besides changing the shavings regularly?

My son loves ducks, but I don't and the smell is the reason. I never notice a smell from just the baby chicks but the ducks are messy little ones and they do seem to stick up the brooder.
