Can I Get Silkies In My Region

Hi All,

I was wondering if I could get silkies in my region of Australia but I am worried about the heat. I live in country South Australia where the summertime temps get to 48C. What Is your opinion, Will they cope or will they not. Thanks

Otherwise, with chickens and heat, I say shade/shade and more shade. Oh, and foot baths.
