Can I give Penicillin sub Q instead of intermuscular? what kind do you guys use?

I am on a last ditch effort with my girl Frick. I have tried everything known to man for my girls except penicillin. I am comfortabledoing the subQ injections on the back. I have never done the intermuscular shots. Can i do the SubQ with the pen. instead? What kind have you used????

I know it CANNOT go IV. I have used it SQ in dogs. But only for preventing sloughing due to another drug accidental going SQ when a vein blew on me. Since I cannot find anything about giving it SQ in chickens I am not sure I'd risk it, but, then I'm not sure I would not either. If it is a "last ditch" effort then what can it hurt? I don't think it will slough the skin but, it may not have the desired effect.

Anybody out there with experience here?

I have only used Procaine (Pen G)

i have access to TSC here and thought i would ask before i go. I am not sure they carry pen G.
