Can I go intolockdown a day early?

My eggs hatch on thursday, and lockdown is supposed to be tomarrow... But we will be gone, all day tomarrow, can it go into lock down a day early? Will the eggs be ok? Thanks!

You can go into lockdown either a day early or a day late, depending on what you think would be best to do. If you're happy your eggs have lost enough moisture already, early is fine. If you're not too sure and you think they might need to lose a little bit more, a day late would probably be better. Good luck!

Just went to silkiechickens old thread, looked at her airsacks in her lockdown eggs. And they are the same as mine. And I think they are ok.... Thanks again!
