Can I hatch eggs Ina cardboard box?

I am ordering fertile eggs from
mypetchicken.com, and I want to hatch them in a cardboard box with a heat lamp one foot above them. Can I? Will they be able to hatch? Thanks.

umm no? You need something that will keep temperatures stable and humidty at specific certain levels an open box cannot do that for you:-(

More than likely not but if you search on here for homemade incubators you will get some ideas on how to make a simple one.
