Can I have a duck with chickens?

Not all male duck are bad, I had pekin drake with my birds for 4 years, no problem.
I am not saying they are bad. But they do have a tendency to want to mate with the hens and they have very different anatomy than chickens as you know. This can cause harm to the hens.

Keep in mind that ducks flock differently—they stick together way more than chickens do, they’re very gentle & have no pecking order. We have four ducks and three chickens, and the ducks are always, always together. The chickens don’t interact with them except to chase them away from food sometimes. One duck with a flock of chickens would be very lonely.
