Can I introduce a normal cockerel to my flock?

I have 3 Belgian D'uccles girls and a lovely cockerel as well as two cream legbars. I am thinking of introducing a cockerel for the legbars but wonder if this would cause havoc with my D'uccle cockerel and his girls? Any ideas? Thanks

How old are the D'Uccles? It is hard to add another male to a group with an adult rooster, they are pretty intolerant of new males. You could separate them.

The D'Uccles are 2, they are free ranging and just locked up of an evening, dont know if this will make any difference or not - what if we had another coop for the legbars to go in with their cockerel - would they be ok just all together during the day roaming the garden?
