Can I introduce new chickens?

We currently have four chickens- a RIR, an EE, a JG and BR. Unfortunately, the JG and the BR are not bearing confinement well, and unless we leave them out free ranging all day they make pitiful, very loud noises nearly continuously. I'm a suburban chicken keeper with neighbors quite near. I'm afraid we need to give up the two noisy ones in the interest of maintaining neighborly relations. What I would like to know is: can I introduce two other chickens at this point? I'm thinking of getting two Wyandottes (supposedly they bear confinement better) and raising them in a brooder until they're big enough to go out.

My Wyandottes are my noisiest and meanest chickens. Consider Speckled Sussex or Orpingtons.
