So i have 3 ducks and 3 geese that grew up together. They sleep eat and forage together. They also share their hatred of chickens.

Now one of the ducks and one of the geese are broody and i expect them to hatch around 20th of May.

My question is once they hatch can i keep them together at night or i will need to build them separate pens. Both from each other and from the rest of ducks and geese? Or will they all be able to sleep together at night?

The rest of them are one drake and one duck. And one goose and one kind of a-hole gander.

Here is a pic when they were younger.

Thank you very much. They always stick together.
that's a beautiful little group!!! I hope someday I will have geese.
When they were smaller they slept with chickens but pretty soon started bossing around so i had to separate the pen in 2. One for chickens and for these little troublemakers!

Just from my own experience of having ducks and geese and chickens geese are better off having their own space. Newly hatched ducklings and goslings can easily get trampled if someone gets all upset.
