Can I make this coop 2 stories?

As far as covering the run, would you recommend a roof all the way or just most of the area?
For weather cover? How big is that run? If it was me and I planned on 10 birds, I would do a minimum of 100 sq ft of solid roofed run because they need protection from the sun where I live. But I also have to worry about loose dogs and hawks so my run is enclosed in hardware cloth and has a cinder block foundation that goes 18" down into the ground.

What kind of weather do you have and what are your specific needs for the cover?

Im in Utah where we get snow and the summers get hot. I would want an area that stays dry and shaded.

No predators, huh? You may believe that until a weasel finds his way into your coop. They inhabit all 48 states, and much of Canada, as well as other continents. A weasel can squeeze through any opening you can push a quarter through, and they can climb. Consider yourself lucky that you have not yet been found. A weasel can kill a whole flock in a single night, and if he does not kill all birds the first night, he'll keep coming back until he does.
