I am new to this quail raising, i have 75 cots in the incu now and 6 adult cots in a pen. I was wondering if i can put some bobwhites in with the coturnix? Do male bobwhites fight alot? any info would be greatly appriciated. Thank you

I would not mix Cots with Bobs. If they had been brooded together or are all extremely young, you might get away with it during the non breeding season. However adult Bobs are pretty territorial and more aggressive than Cots and during breeding season, you will be asking for trouble. So give them each their own space.

Thanks two crows. If i do hatch any bob's and keep them in a seperate coop, whats the ratio of males to females? Thanks again

One male to one female. Bobs are not kept in harems like Cots. :)

And this only applies to the breeding season, spring thru fall. You CAN keep ALL of them together during the non breeding season.
