Hi guys I'm new with chickens and I have 3 kids that would love to have a peking duck too...Can I have just one duck live with the chickens in the same coop-run?? THANKS !!!

Get 2 is really best for the duckling. but get 2 females if they are going to be housed with your chickens, drakes will mate with chickens and can kill them.

Ditto with at least 2. If your chickens are grown and possibly even if they aren't, they won't bond with a duckling. This would leave a very lonely bird. Keep in mind that chicken's beaks are very sharp and can injure a young duckling. Even chicks can injure a duckling by pecking.
