Can I put everyone in one place?

I got my brown leghorns in today from Ideal!!

All but one made it and I got 3 cornish crosses in there for P.P's. They are big for one day old!!

Can I put them in there with my other guys? They are only a week old, and there is plenty of room in the brooder, with 2 heat lamps and what not.. They are eating and drinking and running around. I was just thinking it may be better in the big brooder because its set up better.

I would think that would be alright for now. They will probably outgrow the other birds very fast, so just keep an out and if you have to seperate them later then do so.

I have only had trouble with easter eggers mixed with black giants. EErs dive under and jersey giants climb on top. If piling occurs whether scared or temp; EErs can get squished or soffocated not sure which.

K Thanks.. I put them in there, and everyone seems happy.. Noone is crowded up.. everyone is either sleeping, eating or running around. I do have larger chicks in there (Bramas, JBG's) but the chicks seem okay and are holding their own. I think the big ones helped the little guys figure out the food/water thing.. Since they already knew what was going on.
