can i put shipped eggs in the incubator the day i get them?

i just got a shipment of eggs in can i put them in today or should i wait till tomorrow?

The reason you want to wait is so the temp of the eggs is at room temperature. If you put cold eggs in the bator they will start to get water droplets condensing on them. That is bad

Its best to let them settle for 24 hours, put them in a carton with the small end down to let the air cells settle..

wait at least 24 hours... I tested this myself... I put 6 mosovy eggs in the day I got them 6 the next day... The ones i put in right away got 1 to develop... the ones I waited a day on I got 5 to develop.....


Incubating eggs is all about patience!!
