Can i put a week and a half old silkies with day old silkies/sermas? ok so 4 silkies hatched on april 29th.... i have more eggs hatching on may 11th...can i put them together?

yes, just watch for severe bullying and make sure they aren't over crowded

Yes but do it with a barrier first. I had a month old silkie that was a lone hatch. I hatched out more a month later and put them all in the brooder box with a screen barrier between them. This allow them to see each other but kept the babies safe from being pecked and killed. They are all silkies and a peck on the head can kill. Anyways, after a week of seeing and being close to each other, I took away the barrier. Other than the usual establishment of pecking order, they were fine. Space is important so that the lowest ranked ones can get away or just so they arent stressed from being crowded. Good luck,

I have read a number of times (some from people who do it) that it is safe to mix them before anyone is three weeks old.
