I bought eggs (shipped) from two different breeders. The first batch arrived yesterday afternoon. THey were shipped on their sides and they have been resting upright since 4pm yesterday (Wed). The other box arrived this morning. I picked it up from the Post Office at 9am. They were shipped standing upright (pointy side down). I was planning to NOT turn them the first few days in the bator per suggestions I have seen on this forum. Can I put them all in the bator this evening sometime or should I wait til morning? I just don't know when they were all laid to know if we are getting close to "expiration."

I think you would definitely be safe in setting them all tonight. Good luck on your hatch!

Thanks!

I would set them tonite. Some people don't rest shipped eggs at all and others say rest them to adjust to their new conditions for 8 - 24 hours.
