So come to find out the 5 year old little girl my mother baby sits goes out side on back swing every day and her and my cheerio rose chicken eats Lays potato chips and then after find that out my 15 year old who hangs with the chickens all the time shares every thing she eats I guess my Lilly chicken loves hot Cheetos. and Ice tea. So now I am thinking my eggs and chickens can not be called organic anymore.

So I do have to wonder how bad do you think these treats the kids are sharing are bad for chickens. I did tell my kid no more Ice tea due to caffeine,

do you feed your chickens anything strange like that and have you ever had health issues due to it, or should I let the love of chicken and kids and junk food be.

well I clean out the fridge and feed all of that to the girls, but then I am not selling organic eggs, while most kids might give one or two chips to the birds, they are going to eat most of them their selves. With 4 chickens you really can't be selling organic eggs, probably just enough for your own table, I would let the girls be.

Chickens eat anything, and they eat meat too. really, I wouldn't worry about it. Do make sure that is not their entire diet, but rather a treat basis.
