Can i treat a niacin deficiency with just nutritional yeast alone?

I have always used Nutritional yeast on my birds feed and my ducks chickens and geese all eat it and have never had any problems from the chickens eating it. 1 Tablespoon over each cup of feed you put down.

Is nutritional yeast better than brewers yeast or does it matter?
