Can I trick a non-broody hen into raising baby chicks? Coming out of incubator soon

I have a few 1 year old laying hens (maran)
I have 10 eggs in an incubator that should hatch in a few days. Can I get them to think they hatched them? What about locking the hen in the nest for a couple days and slipping chicks under her? Or placing eggs under her right as they are about to hatch? Obviously giving her plenty of food and water too.

Sorry, but unless she's broody and wants chicks, I don't think it will go to well. I could be wrong though.
