Is there any reason why I couldn't or shouldn't use 2 coats of exterior primer inside of the coop instead of buying paint? Would it be horrible to keep clean? Anyone who knows or has had experience, advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Also should mention, I'm not looking for it to be really pretty, just if it will be a clean-able surface.

Hard to clean if the roosts are too close to the wall but other then that there is no problem.

Thanks :) how far from the wall should I make the Roost?

They say 1 foot but I think 1 1/2 foot is better as some of mine can hit the wall at 1 foot.

I can't recommend it myself. I had a flat paint (one coat) on the walls and I couldn't clean poop off the walls without taking off paint. I just recently put up some tile panels that we had around. Boy, what a difference. One wipe and it comes right off.
