We're doing a big coop cleaning this weekend and i want to spray down the coop...just in case we have any mites or creepy crawlies in there.
I havent seen anything..but.... i've had my birds for over 2 years now and have never done any mite/lice preventive.

But as i said... i've seen nothing...
So.. anyways i have this stuff..(from when i had my goats...)
CAP.. Goat Lice Remover/ Barn & Premise Spray.

Its a brand new bottle...never used.. and i'd hate to have to toss it if i can use it...
So..i'm hoping that its safe??
The active ingredient is: Permethrin 8.50% and Piperonyl Butoxide Technical 4.25%

It dosent say anywhere on the bottle that is safe for chickens..its says for goats and sheep..
Dosent mention birds at all.. but... it dosent say it cant be used for birds either....
Its a dilute solution... supposed to use 1 part solution to 100 parts water.
ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I think it will be fine. You should just do it early, and keep them out for a while right after, and i think it will be ok.
