Can I use this sand?

I need grit for chicks fed a few mealworms so need to move quick . I happen to have this sand on hand and wondering if I can use? I’m assuming no because package does not say “washed” on it but want to be sure. please help!

Just read on their website that this is 'screened and washed before packaging' so i don't see why not?

You can use the dirt that is under that bag. Besides it is not that critical. They would be fine.

Yes..You can use any type of Sand. Hmm. Think of it this way. Do you worry about what grass or ground they walk on?..
