Can medicated feed cause sour crop in chicks

I was curious if medicated feed could eliminate all good bacteria in a chick and cause things like sour crop. Thanks.

I think medicated feed just has corrid in it to help chicks build some type of I,unity to cocciososis, but does your chick have sour crop?

I believe I have one that does. It’s really young to have it, only about a week old, but there are some key symptoms that are leading me to believe that is the case, so I am treating it accordingly,

No, medicated feed with amprollium has a minute amount of medication that mimics thiamine. It should not have anything to do with sour crop, and contains no antibiotics.
