My boyfriend caught a bunch of bluegill about a week ago. He cleaned them, but didn't do the best job scaling - there are few scales left on the fish and all the bones are still there. We grilled them, but we have some leftovers and I don't really want them.

Is it OK to give whole fish like this to my chickens? I'm a little dubious about all the little bones..... will they hurt my girls?

You gotta be reeeeeaalllly careful.....drop them and run or the girls will knock you down to get at them!

When I give my girls fish whole fish off the grill like that, I just slingshot it over to them.....they love it.....
