Can my chickens have.....

I made the kids pasta with red sauce......there was a lot left over on their plates. Can my chickens eat this?

As long as it doesn't have much salt or sugar; neither is very healthy for chickens in large quantities.

It's only got the sodium and sugar content that is in the sauce.

I would suggest pouring the leftovers in a colander or strainer and giving it a good rinse to get rid of the sauce...

I give my chickens straight leftovers and they gobble them up.

I also rinse my red sauce off 'cause I put garlic in it, and I've read that this can make the eggs taste yucky.
