Can my goose raise chicks?

I have a broody Embden. She's raised ducklings before- excellent mama for the week or so that I had them.
Any thoughts on getting her some day old chicks to raise? I've heard of geese hatching and raising chicken eggs... But the introduction part with live, breathing chicks can be so fragile- and geese can be *brutal*.
I've had loads of broody experience- but now I'm just looking for opinions. Is it worth the risk? I'd get chicks as YOUNG as possible... Do the transfer at night when everyone is settled down...
If it doesn't work out, raising them in a brooder is always an option, but live Mamas are so. much. easier.
Thoughts? Give me ALL THE OPINIONS, I'd hate to screw this up.

In my experience, geese and ducks have been poor mothers to chicks. If they bathe, the chicks get wet/chilled, and their webbed feet frequently injure/crush chicks.

I wouldn't. It's just asking for her to accidentally call the chicks into a water source to drown. Like a siren or kelpie
