After calling several vets none have an exact answer and none test for this! My kids have had a reoccuring pinworn infection, do not go to day care and I have done the medicine/cleaning and 6 months later still have it! SO I searched online and it said a chicken with pinworms will look rough and not recover from molting...I have one chicken like that. My children get the eggs, so I am wondering if this is the problem?! They are not pets, just for eggs/food, so if I had to get rid of them fine, but I just need more answers! HELP if you know anything !!!!

Was told by a mother that her children got pin worms from their 4h chickens. I am not sure if they really did tho. They are easily picked up by children from other children and easily reinfected if toys, bedding, carpet and everything isn't cleared of the tiny eggs which will reinfect them. Pin-x over the counter, works well.
