I was wondering if I can take my 2 week old RIR outside. They are already flapping their wings and trying to get out of the brooder. I just thought they may like to go outside for a couple of minutes today. The temp here will be about 80 degrees

yes, deffinetly take them outside, just keep track of them and keep them strictly quartined to your yard. keep them away from dogs, and make sure that if you fertilize or spray your grass, do not let them eat it. Other than that, totally take them out. :thumbsup

80 degrees. nice. Time to transition to the great outdoors. If your coop/run is ready and you dont't have full size chickens, you could consider a permanant relocation.
