Hello, I've recently ordered "pinless peepers" in order to stop my birds from pecking each other. My concern now is if my rooster can still breed and fertilize the eggs if he is wearing the peeper. Please help

I'm not sure. I'd be tempted to leave the Pinless Peepers off of the rooster unless you have seen him feather pecking/plucking.

I have no idea what a pinless peeper is but you know they breed by sitting on the pullet - they manipulate their tails and all - sorry to be so graphic. Not all roosters bite feathers on the head to hold on but most of my roosters did. It depends on how the pullet sits too. Some stay calm and others are not so cooperative.

If they have enough space they will not peck at each other so much. My roosters were pretty good to the girls and didn't peck at them. I suppose I would leave a roo un hampered if your goal is to have fertile eggs and not put anything on him.

Welcome to the forum.
