Hi i was thinking about buying high octane champion drive becouse i want my goats to be looking there best is there anything in there that could hurt them is it safe do any of yall use it? heres a link to it http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.html?pgguid=b8d5ae69-5f96-45f0-825b-6a73fb527fff any info would be greatly appricated NOTE there feed is purina noble goat 16% medicated two 3 qt. scoops a day for my 2 four month old boer goats. they also get one 4qt. bucket of dumor timothy and alfalfa chopped blend for the two of them another thing they get is manna pro goat treats about a handful per goat per day. and everyday during the summer they get 1 bucket of either manna pro goat electrolytes or dumor blue ribbon electrolytes. ALSO does anybody know if i can give them purina hydration hay it is marketed for horses but can they have it?

Is the timothy and alfalfa chop their only hay source?
If they drink water fine on their own (and they should be if they are drinking electrolyte water), you really don't need to give them the electrolytes. Especially not every day.
Are they are a good goat or cattle mineral? If not, that would be more important than the high octane stuff.
Looking at the ingredients, it's just a protein supplement with some added minerals, so I would say not really any need for it. They are already on a 16% concentrate.
Your boys need a combined total of about 8lbs of roughage a day (based off a 75lb goat)... or free choice if you can. Lots of roughage builds the rumen capacity, which in turn helps to build a big strong healthy goat.
As for that grain... you are over feeding (based on that 3 qt scoop weighing around 3lbs. And it says it contains roughage, but there is no way I'd ever feed it as the sole ration to a growing goat (for the rumen reason above).
It contains AC, so that's good.. hopefully you won't have UC problems from all the grain.
Folks generally start backwards with goats... the foundation to a good goat ration should absolutely be the best hay/roughage you can buy, give it to them free choice, then add on from their.

Hydration hay.... why do they need it? They have hay, and they drink water... Your goats will drink enough water to stay hydrated in the heat as long as you keep clean fresh water to them. Goats are smart... they know when they are thirsty and will go get a drink.

So, to answer your question, yes non show goats can use the supplement you linked to. Do your goats need it? I highly doubt it.
If they are looking rough, we need to address other issues before that's going to do them any good.
