Hi there,
Rooster started limping two days ago, bottom of one foot is definitely swollen, but no cut/scab visible. Are there any other diseases this could be (aside from bumblefoot)? If you think it is bumblefoot, I'll treat based on video I've found on this website. Thank you in advance!

I'd surmise that's the start of bumblefoot. Can you give his feet a good 5-10-minute soak in some Epsom salts? That'll clean it up so you can feel and see it better, plus that should feel good to him. Then see if it feels hard and hot to the touch.

Welcome To BYC

Can you give his foot a really good cleanup, then post more photos?
Often you may find a small cut or poke to the skin once the foot is clean.

Hi there - thanks for your responses!
Here is a picture of the foot after a 15 min soak in epsom salt bath...Do you still think it's bumblefoot?
Thanks again!

Has the foot been worked on previously? Looks like there's a cut in the center of the foot.

I'd start by soaking the foot daily in epsom salts to see if that helps reduce inflammation. Dry the foot, then apply triple antibiotic ointment to the center cut. Wrap the foot and keep him on clean dry bedding.

He may benefit from treatment with Tricide Neo, so you may want to look into using that.
