Hello,
I went to check on the chickens this morning. One of them seems... off. When the others rushed out, she was sitting by the feeder, just kind of casual like, but not eating, just, resting. When I approached she went out and found another spot to sit. I put her into a separate space just in case, but I don't really know what could be wrong. She is young, 11 weeks old black Australorp. I give them medicated feed and they have access to lot of things outdoors. It has been hot, but not extreme in last few days, if anything a bit cooler. I gave her some egg with garlic and yoghurt and sunflower seeds and she ate it all, she is drinking and while I was not looking, she was pecking at her food as well. Her crop is pliable and bottom is clean. I attach a picture of the poop she made, but even that looks pretty normal, though somewhat runny to me. She doesn't exactly have a comb yet to discern if it is droopy.

You could try some vitamin/mineral water like Nutra Drench or Poultry Cell and see if that gives her a boost.

I take mine off medicated after a month or two. You could certainly try switch her over to regular starter if you wanted since they're getting outside and will continue building up immunities.

Hi, thanks for the ideas. In our area only medicated is available. But I will look into the options you suggested or something similar.

I would start her your flock on corid.
Thanks, I do not have access to that here. But the are on medicated feed, which should do the same thing. I had a suspicion they were spending so much time outside they were not actually eating enough of the proper food, so not getting enough protein or the anti-coccidial stuff. Started just closing them in more, out just few hours a day and she looks better. So yes, you may have had something there, but I can't get corid.
