Hi all,

I Have 4 bantam wyandottes and 2 lakenvelders in lockdown. Tomorrow is Day 21-but 1 wyandotte and 1 lakenvelder have already hatchedand were pipped last night at this time...but I have no pips from the others. From my own experience this tends to mean that they aren't going to...it just seems like once one hatches they all do - or don't. Is it possible for a select few to hatch early and the others to wait? Please be honest and tell me what you think-even if it's bad news

Thank you very much.

OH YA! NONE of mine started hatching till day 22 late late at night LOL, They were too cozy in the egg i guess, i had one try to hatch today but didnt make it and today was day 24

It could be that those ones were closer to the heat source maybe so got more heat and developed a bit quicker.
