Can someone help me sex my buff duck?

Here's the "brown" around the beak that I was talking about

Around the nostrils, and where the feathers meet the beak

This sounds like a male voice to me.
Does it?? Honestly, I was really hoping for a female since my mom tells me males normally have no other value than just breeding and repopulating, we were planning on getting two other female babies if Pasty was a female, but if Pasty ends up being a male, we were gonna give them away. We did a lot of research and my mom doesn't like the way a male duck sounds. Do they need 5 females per male? Or would 2 suffice?

It all depends on the male :).
I'm guessing the more aggressive, the more females? My duck also nips at my face, but has been doing it ever since it was a baby and would perch on my neck. Would this be considered a sign of aggression and dominance or love and affection? Whenever Pasty does end up nipping me, normally on my lips, I end up bleeding.

Yes, more aggressive, more females. My old, sweet drake had 2 hens for a little while, and even he pulled quite a few feathers out of them from mating. 3 hens is my minimum, though I believe 4 or 5 is better, if you can.

Sounds like affection. If the nipping becomes worse and persists into adult hood, that’s when it’d be considered aggression / mating behavior.
