they’re from an eBay barnyard mix assortment of hatching eggs. They have all hatched either yesterday or today but I have no clue what they are. I have 6 so far and 2 still hatching.

And most came from a pale cream colored egg. one of the eggs was a tan color and and one was white. The one that came from the white egg is one of the dark colored ones.

If they are mixed then they are mutts, not just one breed we can easily identify. As they grow, different features will come out so we can then try to narrow down the parentage. Also, we can help with identifying their sex at 8 weeks and up. Enjoy they while they are young. They grow up so fast.

yes they are definitely mixed breeds. I was just wondering if anyone had a good idea on the parentage. I know they’re young but i’m so impatient ahaha.

if someone even has a best guess i’ll be satisfied. i’ll update as the weeks go by.

If you mean assorted chicks, then that is just random purebred chicks, if you say barnyard mix that could mean mixed chicks. Do hatcheries sell mixed chicks?

If I was going off of pure looks, 1,3,4 look like different shades of Brahma, light and dark. but brahmas have feathers on their feet so...

#2, and six could be BCM, but once again no feathers on feet.
#5 looks like a penciled rock.
