Have you considered Black Vultures? We've had them move into Ohio. They will go after live animals (I'm not sure about chickens). A friend of mine lost a calf to them. They hunt in groups, fly in to create confusion, then peck out the eyes of the victim first. Nasty!

Thing is that they may still be considered a protected species, so you may not be able to kill them. May be time to move the chickens to a large run with netting over it.
