Can someone please explain "Streamers" to me??

I have 4 little silkie babies (around 7 weeks) and I have been reading a lot about silkies on here. I am seeing the word streamers come up a lot. Can someone tell me what they are and what they look like? Pics would be great too!!!

I would love to know too. I know it has to do with the crest - something to do with the way it sweeps back on the boys?

Streamers are like the pointy feathers on the back of the head of a silkie rooster. Here is a picture:

The streamers are circled.
