most of what I'm seeing online look more like Barred Rocks to me.
Just got a couple young pullets today and want to get an idea of what they will look like full grown.

Go to the "Breeds" section just below here and click on 'Breeds, Genetics', --there is a post about Marans--has 600+pages and tons of pictures. You see more there than you will here. The post moves really fast and it's hard to keep up.. but great information/pictures and some disagreeing from the 'big Whigs'! LOL

The 'barred' looking ones are Cukoo Marans..
