Can someone tell me if i have a pair? Of Silkies

Well i know one is a roo for sure and i know he does not have the perfect comb and all that but i would like to know if my other chick is a girl can anyone please tell me?

I want to say girl, how old are they?

Well the male is older he is like 4 months old and the would be girl is 2 1/2 months old. She has no comb it's still very very flat if that says anything

If I had to guess I would say pullet, but 2 1/2 months is very young to be able to determine a silkie's sex, so I could be wrong.

It's just I see no prominent comb, and her crest is much more rounded, so that's why I say girl.

it looks like a girl and if you plan on breeding i would replace the cockerel asap for one with the right comb

I do not plan to breed these 2 he just kind of fell on my lap but i do plan on getting her the correct roo he is a pet for my kids he is too sweet to get rid off. She on the other hand has everything right except a sixth toe :-(

silkies only have 5 toes, there are no 6 toe breeds

LOL oh i know but that can be bred out so not worried about it. I would love to find a correct blue or black roo for her though so i can start a little breeding project with them. I hatched her from some eggs i got from a good breeder on here sadly she was the only survivor of that hatch it was only my second attempt and she has 6 toes small ones but still

Well thought i would post an updated pic of the girl to see if you all think it's still a she. I say yes but want to be somewhat sure.
