Can they go out and play?

My chicks are about 1 week and half old and it's really hot here. About 80, can I put them in a run outside for a bit to peck in the grass? Or will it hurt them?

They would love it. Do it. But stay there to keep an eye on them in case they get too hot.

Definitely let them play! They may act like statues at first but they'll soon realize how fun it is to play outside! Make sure they have shady spot and a sunny spot so they can choose how warm/cool they'd like to be. And take pics
