Today is day 17 of incubation. I have a broody Silkie sitting on several eggs but the other hens fight their way into her nest box to lay. This egg must have been crushed. Is there anyway to save it?

It is a bad, bad idea to not separate a broody for this exact reason. Other hens lay their eggs in there, which can cause multiple issues:
Broody gets disturbed and moves to a diff nest
Broody has eggs that are in different stages of development because they were laid at different times
Broody has eggs crushed and chicks killed.

In the future, please separate her.

Candle the egg and try to seal the shell if the chick is still alive.

Pitiful patch job with paraffin wax. This is a first for me. Ive been lucky with my previous broody silkie in the nest box but i learned the hard way. I won’t take the chance again and have since moved the eggs and broody hen to a separate area. I’ll let everyone know how it works out.
