Can We Say Head Poop?

My run is enclosed with wood and we cut a large fenced window in it and put a perch up, so the girls could look out. Also catches a nice breeze and helps keep the run cooler. When we go into the run, if there are any girls on the perch, they will get off. Today, they were fussing and two of them remained on the perch as my husband was scooping poop. As he leaned over to scoop the poop from under the perch, one of the girls pooped on his head. He immediately jumped up and then hit his head on the perch.

I was at work and would have given anything to see this. I would have probably been rolling on the ground.

And to make matters worse, it was a wet poop. He's okay, just a little bump on the head. As for the girls, they are probably still chuckling. I was just glad it was him and not me.

That is HILARIOUS!!!

when I got my first set of chickens, one of them was on the perch in their cage and the biggest one pooped on the one under it on the head

Yes...a video would have been great. After he hit his head, he got the garden hose to wash the poop off before heading in for a shower. You would also have to know my husband....he can make anything funnier. He said he cussed and fussed for a while, but after everything was done, he had to laugh too. He has now put a hat outside by the run to wear when he is cleaning the coop and run.
