Can you add more eggs later to the incubator???

I started my eggs tonight in the incubator, 1st time ever, but also wanted olive eggers, but couldn't find them. Now tonight I find them and she says they could be here by Tues or Wed. Can I put those eggs in with my already started eggs for a staggered hatch? Or would it compromise my already started eggs? HELP! I only have 15 min to decide!

yes, you can do this.

That's close enough. I would make sure there were 6 days in between them though so one lockdown doesn't adversely effect the next group.

It's going to depend on what kind of incubator you have. If you have room to separate the eggs during the first lockdown and have an auto turner so you don't have to open the 'bator to turn the Olive Eggers during that time you can absolutely stagger your hatches.

wait, I didn't think about lockdown. How would the later eggs fare in that high humidity? They wouldn't would they?
