Can you eat duck eggs if duck is being treated for eye infection?

Hello Friends.

My one duck, Mama, has an eye infection. She and Wendy are in my basement right now and have been for a week. I've been treating her with saline, Neosporin, Vetrimycin and Terramycin. She is improving, but slowly. My question is, can we eat the eggs that they are laying? She often goes into the water after treatment so I'm assuming some of that stuff gets into their water. Do we need to wait a certain amount of time before we can start eating their eggs again? Thanks in advance.

the eggs will be fine to eat.
but why are you using 4 different things? do all 4 go in her eyes? did a vet say to use all of them?

I think she just needs the saline to rinse and then use the terramycin ointment. i would stop using the neosporin and the vetrimycin.

and just a fyi whenever you use neosporin on a duck make sure it’s the original formula that does not have pain relief added
